3. General Information on Data Processing

1. Scope of Processing of Personal Data We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users regularly takes place only after the consent of the user. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for practical reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by legal regulations.

2. Legal Basis for the Processing of Personal Data Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing operations of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis.

When processing personal data necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations required to carry out pre-contractual measures.

Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR serves as the legal basis.

In the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d GDPR serves as the legal basis.

If the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing.

3. Data Deletion and Storage Duration The personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. Storage may also occur if provided for by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws, or other provisions to which the controller is subject. Data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires unless there is a need for further storage of the data for contract conclusion or contract fulfillment.

Provision of the Website and Creation of Log Files

What data is automatically stored by our host?

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. The access data includes:

  • Name of the retrieved website
  • Date and time of retrieval
  • Transferred data volume
  • Message about successful retrieval
  • Browser type and version, as well as the user’s operating system
  • Referrer URL (the URL that referred you to our website, e.g., Google search)
  • IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security, and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if there are concrete indications of a justified suspicion of illegal use.

Handling of Personal Data

Personal data is information that can be used to determine a person, i.e., information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address, or telephone number. But also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships, or which websites someone has viewed are considered personal data. Personal data is only collected, used, and passed on by the provider if this is legally permitted or the users consent to the data collection.

Protection of Your Personal Data

We have taken technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss, destruction, manipulation, and unauthorized access. Our security measures are continuously revised and optimized in line with technological developments.

When you use a service on our website, your personal data is transmitted to us. To ensure that this data does not fall into the wrong hands, we encrypt it using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method. The SSL method is currently the most common and secure data transmission method on the Internet.

Function of the SSL Method

The SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method protects data that a customer sends over the Internet to a company’s server. SSL provides triple protection:

Your inputs to be transmitted are encrypted.

It is ensured that the form is only returned to the server from which it was opened.

It is checked whether the data reaches its respective recipient completely and unchanged.

SSL is always used when you see a small (usually green) lock on your screen either at the bottom left in the status bar of your browser or next to the URL line at the top of the browser.

What is stored when contacting us?

When contacting us via our contact form, the user’s information is stored for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on without the user’s consent.

This website is protected by reCAPTCHA. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Use apply.

What are the newsletter data used for?

If you want to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an email address from you, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email address, and their use for sending the newsletter at any time.

Integration of Third-Party Services and Content

It may happen that content from third parties, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds, or graphics from other websites, is integrated within this online offer. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) perceive the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of this content. We strive to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence on whether the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g., for statistical purposes. As far as this is known to us, we inform the users about it.

Use of Facebook Social Plugins

We use social plugins from facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., on our website. The plugins are recognizable by the Facebook logo or the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. The data exchange does not explicitly take place only by clicking on the Like button, but already through the code delivered by Facebook on www.tp-apartments.ch. This data is not bundled viewable or changeable for the site operator. Details on the handling of your personal data by Facebook can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy: www.facebook.com/policy.php

A transfer of your personal data to third parties does not take place without your express consent, unless this is necessary for the provision of the service or the execution of the contract. The transfer to authorized state institutions and authorities also only takes place within the framework of legal disclosure obligations or if we are obliged to provide information by a court decision.

Internal company data protection is also very important to us. Our employees and the service companies commissioned by us are obliged to maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations.
